What is hypothesis-generation?

A structured method for turning observations or data into testable hypotheses. It also defines predictions, possible explanations, and experiments that could check them.

Use it to formulate hypotheses from experimental observations, suggest mechanisms, and design tests for those hypotheses.

It helps replace vague guesses with claims that can be tested and potentially disproved. This makes scientific investigation more focused.
