Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00068 | $0.00683 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00034 | $0.00342 |

Grade A, and why
aileron-web-canvas-review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 37 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Aileron Web Canvas Review Workflow
Use this workflow when the user sends a Canvas review request from Aileron Web Canvas. This skill shares the aileron-web-canvas contract: edits land under /workspace, the canvas is declared by /workspace/.aileron/canvas.json, and the canvas artifact is synced and announced through the Aileron MCP tools instead of leaving preview refresh to the user.
Rules
- Treat the persisted workspace files under
/workspaceas the source of truth. - Do not treat iframe DOM edits, browser devtools edits, or injected overlay changes as persistent work.
- Preserve the repository's i18n rules. Do not hard-code new user-facing Chinese or English strings in frontend or backend code when an i18n key path exists or should be added.
- Use the review note id in your final response so the user can connect the work back to the Canvas note.
- Prefer stable source changes that explain the rendered selector context instead of patching generated build artifacts.
- If the selected target cannot be mapped to source confidently, inspect the route and ask for a narrower instruction only when necessary.
- Follow the Canvas edit instruction flow: edit
/workspacesource files, preserve i18n requirements, and never treat iframe DOM changes as persistent state. - After finishing an edit, sync the canvas renderer yourself instead of only telling the user to click Sync: send a
POSTrequest to$AILERON_CANVAS_API_URL/sync(this is the same endpoint the Web Canvas toolbar Sync action calls). - Re-announce the canvas by calling
mcp__aileron__show_canvas_artifactwith the reviewed route, matching theaileron-web-canvasending contract. - If the Canvas tab was already open before this edit, its iframe does not auto-reload from a background sync; tell the user to use the toolbar Sync action if the preview still looks stale after the announcement.
Steps
- Read the Canvas review prompt for
noteId,routePath, targetType, selector or area context, previews, and the user instruction. - Inspect
/workspacesource files that render the requested route. - Make the smallest source change that satisfies the instruction.
- Add or update i18n keys for any user-facing text changes.
- Run the relevant project checks when available in the container.
POSTto$AILERON_CANVAS_API_URL/syncto rebuild or reuse the canvas renderer for the edited route.- Call
mcp__aileron__show_canvas_artifactwithtitleand the reviewedrouteto re-announce the canvas. - Summarize changed files, mention the review note id, note that the toolbar Sync action can also be used if an already-open preview looks stale, then ask whether the note should be marked applied.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

aileron-web-canvas-review is a skill published in the GitHub repository aileron-platform/aileron (11 stars, last pushed 19d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 68 tokens to every session and 683 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
