Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00065 | $0.02017 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00026 | $0.00807 |

Grade A, and why
gitlab scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 15d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

GitLab (via Apideck)
Access GitLab through Apideck's Issue Tracking unified API — one of 6 Issue Tracking connectors that share the same method surface. Code you write here ports to Jira, GitHub, Linear and 2 other Issue Tracking connectors by changing a single serviceId string. Apideck handles auth, pagination, rate limiting, and retries so you don't write per-tenant GitLab plumbing.
Beta connector. GitLab is currently in beta on Apideck. Expect partial resource coverage and occasional mapping gaps. Always verify coverage (see below) and fall back to the Proxy API for unsupported operations.
Quick facts
- Apideck serviceId:
gitlab - Unified API: Issue Tracking
- Auth type: oauth2
- Status: beta
- Gotchas: page
- GitLab docs: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/api/
- Homepage: https://www.gitlab.com/
At a glance
- Implementation difficulty: straightforward — Self-Service OAuth App + Free GitLab.com Account Sufficient, No Partnership or Review
- Vendor partnership required: no (GitLab OAuth application settings) — Anyone with a GitLab account, or a group they manage, registers the application in GitLab settings and gets the client ID and secret straight away.
- Apideck-managed credentials: available — OAuth shows "Apideck" as the requesting application.
- Account type required: Any GitLab.com plan, the free one included.
- Consumer access level: Any GitLab user with access to the group being connected. The connection reaches what that user can already see in it.
- Sandbox: not available (signup) — Test in a separate free GitLab.com account with its own group. The free plan allows 5 users per top-level group.
- Costs: No separate charge for API access.
- Rate limits: 2,000 requests a minute for each authenticated user on GitLab.com.
- Authentication: Authorization Code flow.
- Webhooks: Virtual webhooks - ticket created and updated, detected by polling the group's issues.
What ships with it

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

gitlab is a skill published in the GitHub repository apideck-libraries/api-skills (5 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 65 tokens to every session and 2,017 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
