linear-multiworkspace

linear-multiworkspace is a skill for Claude Code from apideck-libraries/api-skills. It costs 71 tokens per session (2,065 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

An integration for reading, creating, updating, and commenting on issues in Linear across multiple workspaces through Apideck, a service that provides one interface for several issue-tracking systems.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to automate tickets and issues across Linear workspaces, including creating tickets, reading them, and posting comments.
Why use it?
It avoids writing separate code for authentication, pagination, rate limits, and retries across Linear workspaces. The connector is in beta, so some Linear features may not be covered.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00071 $0.02065
Opus 5.5 $0.00028 $0.00826
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00014 $0.00413
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00206

Security

Grade A, and why

linear-multiworkspace scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 15d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Linear Multiworkspace (via Apideck)

Access Linear Multiworkspace through Apideck's Issue Tracking unified API — one of 6 Issue Tracking connectors that share the same method surface. Code you write here ports to Jira, GitHub, GitLab and 2 other Issue Tracking connectors by changing a single serviceId string. Apideck handles auth, pagination, rate limiting, and retries so you don't write per-tenant Linear Multiworkspace plumbing.

Beta connector. Linear Multiworkspace is currently in beta on Apideck. Expect partial resource coverage and occasional mapping gaps. Always verify coverage (see below) and fall back to the Proxy API for unsupported operations.

Quick facts

At a glance

  • Implementation difficulty: moderate — Consumer-Created Personal API Key - No OAuth App, No Partnership
  • Vendor partnership required: no
  • Apideck-managed credentials: not available — Each consumer supplies their own Linear API key, so there is no shared application to use.
  • Account type required: A Linear workspace where the person can create a personal API key. Admins always can; Members can unless an admin has turned member key creation off.
  • Consumer access level: What the key's creator can see, narrowed by any permission or team limits on the key; Apideck's setup guide asks for full access to all teams.
  • Sandbox: not available (signup) — Test against a separate free Linear workspace.
  • Rate limits: 2,500 requests and 3,000,000 complexity points an hour per Linear user, shared across all of that user's API keys.
  • Authentication: A Linear personal API key in the Authorization header; not OAuth.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
