vertical-3-4-layout-skill

vertical-3-4-layout-skill is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from arcsin1/oh-my-ppt. It costs 70 tokens per session (1,507 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A layout guide for creating or repairing vertical 3:4 Oh My PPT pages, usually on a 1200×1600 canvas. It treats each page as a poster-like card with one main visual focus and grouped supporting information.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan titles, focal visuals, evidence groups, compact two-column areas, charts, lists, and structural checks for vertical presentation pages.
Why use it?
It helps prevent crowded pages and weak reading order when fitting substantial content into a tall format.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00070 $0.01507
Opus 5 $0.00035 $0.00754
Sonnet 5 $0.00014 $0.00301
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00151

Security

Grade A, and why

vertical-3-4-layout-skill scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Vertical 3:4 Layout Skill

This skill is the layout source of truth for vertical-3-4 pages, usually 1200x1600.

A 3:4 page is a vertical poster-card canvas. It has enough width for rich information cards and compact two-column pockets, but its reading path is still vertical. The layout should feel like a poster with one strong anchor and grouped evidence, not a long feed of equal blocks.

This canvas is a poster card, not a compressed slide. When the source content is dense or "needs to be summarized", summarize or regroup it for this reading format instead of cramming a 16:9 deck's worth of outline into one page.

Deep details live in the references:

  • references/catalog.md - named poster-card patterns and 1200x1600 zone skeletons.
  • references/checklist.md - P0/P1/P2 structural self-check for delivery.

Preflight

Before writing HTML, decide:

  1. Message - the one sentence this card should make the viewer remember.
  2. Focal anchor - title block, hero metric, chart, image/diagram, framework, or conclusion.
  3. Support groups - start with 3-4 support bands (or 5-6 compact rows/chips for grouped facts), then regroup or choose a denser pattern when the content genuinely needs it; do not squeeze extra material in by making it unreadable.
  4. Reading path - top claim -> main proof/value -> bottom synthesis/source.
  5. Density - low-medium for poster claims, medium for most information cards, high only for compact lists or matrices. Never use "high density" as a reason to exceed the 4-band cap.
  6. Pattern - use a structure from references/catalog.md as a starting point when it helps the reading path; it is not a closed template menu, and a fresh composition is welcome when it serves the page thesis.
  7. Budget - estimate hero zone, main proof zone, bottom synthesis, gaps, and reserve.

Use the canvas dimensions from the prompt. If custom dimensions are supplied, preserve the same vertical poster relationships.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
