persian-number-utility

persian-number-utility is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from ariaramin/flutter-skills. It costs 73 tokens per session (8,453 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for formatting, converting, normalizing, and checking Persian numbers, dates, currencies, and Iranian identifiers in Flutter and Dart. It also handles Persian, Arabic, and Latin digit forms.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for Persian digits and number words, Jalali dates, currency and card formatting, and client-side checks of Iranian national, mobile, postal, bank-card, and Sheba numbers.
Why use it?
User-entered numbers may use different digit systems or local date formats, which can break parsing, display, and validation. This guide keeps displayed values readable and stored values consistent.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00073 $0.08453
Opus 5.5 $0.00029 $0.03381
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00015 $0.01691
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00845

Security

Grade A, and why

persian-number-utility scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Persian Number Utility — Flutter Skill

Purpose

This skill provides authoritative, production-grade engineering instructions for integrating, formatting, normalizing, validating, and testing Persian numbers, words, dates, currency, and Iranian identifiers in Flutter applications using the persian_number_utility package (v1.1.6).

When to Use This Skill

  • Formatting numbers, dates, currency amounts, or card numbers into Persian digits (۱۲۳) and separated groups (۱۰۰,۰۰۰).
  • Converting numbers to Persian words (e.g., 1000 -> یک هزار) or words back to integers (toNumber()).
  • Validating Iranian syntactic formats: National Code (کد ملی), Bank Card (شماره کارت), Mobile Number (شماره موبایل), Postal Code (کد پستی), and Sheba (شبا).
  • Normalizing user input containing mixed Persian (۰-۹), Arabic (٠-٩), and Latin (0-9) digits into canonical ASCII for backend storage or parsing.
  • Converting Gregorian DateTime to Jalali/Shamsi (هجری شمسی) representation and relative time strings.

When NOT to Use This Package

  • Authoritative Identity or Bank Account Verification: Client-side checksums cannot verify if a national code belongs to a living person or if a bank card is active. Use authenticated backend APIs.
  • Complex Financial / Ledger Calculations: beToman() converts via double division (/ 10), introducing IEEE-754 precision issues. Use integer math in lowest denomination or package:decimal.
  • Complete App Internationalization (i18n): This package does not check Localizations.localeOf(context). It unconditionally produces Persian strings. For locale-aware formatting, use intl (NumberFormat).
  • Full-featured Solar Hijri Calendars: For calendar math, leap-year calculations, date arithmetic, or date picking, prefer shamsi_date or dedicated calendar engines.

Sources of Truth

  • Package: persian_number_utility (Current baseline: ^1.1.6) on pub.dev.
  • Official Repository: mehdi-nemati/persian_number_utility.
  • Source Modules: lib/src/methods.dart, lib/src/extensions.dart, lib/src/word_class.dart, lib/src/validators/*.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
