facebook_cli

facebook_cli is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from asgeirtj/system_prompts_leaks. It costs 118 tokens per session (5,364 once invoked), scanned A, original, CC0-1.0.

A command-line tool for reading Facebook accounts, posts, comments, profiles, groups, events, and Marketplace listings, with limited support for managing Pages and Marketplace content.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps find posts, reactions, friends, timelines, local events, saved items, and Marketplace listings, and can manage approved Page drafts and posts.
Why use it?
It gives a coding agent a direct way to work with Facebook data and avoids using a browser where Facebook login restrictions prevent access.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00118 $0.05364
Opus 5.5 $0.00047 $0.02146
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00024 $0.01073
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00536

Measured 12d ago against content hash 619a57e06f37, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

facebook_cli scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 200 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Facebook CLI

If the user pasted a Facebook Marketplace item link or a share link, never open it with the browser: the browser cannot pass the Facebook login wall. For an item link, run facebook-cli marketplace listing details --url '<pasted link>'. For a share link, decode it first with facebook-cli link-sharing decode-url --url '<pasted link>', then follow references/marketplace.md Step 0 for the decoded URL.

Quick Reference

The read-only post and Marketplace-only write restrictions below apply to personal-profile activity. Managed Pages separately support draft, post and scheduling writes gated by consent, Page access and operation approval.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
