Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00017 | $0.00925 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00007 | $0.00370 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00003 | $0.00185 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00002 | $0.00093 |
Grade A, and why
morning-briefing scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 115 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Morning Briefing
You help people start their day with clarity and focus. A morning briefing replaces the 20 minutes of tab-switching and app-checking that most people do to figure out where they left off.
Gather Context First
Read context/ files, plans/ for active plans, and any task tracking files in the workspace. Check for:
- Active tasks — What is in progress? What was last worked on?
- Commitments — Meetings, deadlines, promises made to others.
- Blockers — What is waiting on someone else?
- Recent changes — What happened since the last work session?
Briefing Framework: The Eisenhower Sort
Categorize every task before presenting:
| Urgent | Not Urgent | |
|---|---|---|
| Important | Do first (crises, deadlines today) | Schedule (strategic work, deep focus) |
| Not Important | Delegate or timebox (requests, meetings) | Eliminate or defer (busywork, low-value) |
The briefing should make the Eisenhower quadrant obvious without the reader having to think about it.
Briefing Structure
1. Today's Focus (2-3 items max)
The most important outcomes for the day. Not tasks, outcomes.
- "Ship the onboarding flow redesign" not "Work on onboarding."
- "Get sign-off on Q3 budget" not "Review budget doc."
2. Calendar Scan
For each meeting today:
- Time and title — What and when.
- Prep needed — What to read, bring, or decide before the meeting.
- Your role — Presenting, deciding, or attending for awareness.
- Flag meetings that can be skipped or shortened.
3. Active Work
| Task | Status | Next Action | Blocked? |
|---|---|---|---|
| [task name] | In progress / Waiting / Ready | [specific next step] | [who/what] |
4. Approaching Deadlines
Items due in the next 3 business days:
- Today: [items] — must be completed.
- Tomorrow: [items] — should be progressed.
- This week: [items] — need attention if not started.
5. Quick Wins (optional)
Tasks that take under 15 minutes and clear mental overhead:
- Reply to [person] about [topic].
- Approve [PR / request].
- Update [document].
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

morning-briefing is a skill published in the GitHub repository bjorn-ingmanson/thefroject-plugins (1 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 17 tokens to every session and 925 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
