csv-export

csv-export is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Cai-aa/CAE-Agent-Hub. It costs 0 tokens per session (775 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A procedure for exporting Abaqus curing-simulation results to CSV, including node positions and displacement components. CSV is a plain table format that spreadsheets and data tools can read.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to export each listed recipe’s node labels, X/Y/Z coordinates, and U1/U2/U3 displacements from the final frame of the sp step.
Why use it?
It turns results stored in an Abaqus ODB file into a simpler format for comparison or further analysis.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00000 $0.00775
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00387
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00155
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00077

Security

Grade A, and why

csv-export scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

CSV Export

Description

Export curing simulation results to CSV with node coordinates and displacements. Invoke when user needs CSV output, data export, or result comparison.

Content

CSV Format

The exported CSV file uses the following column format:

Node,X,Y,Z,U1,U2,U3
  • Node: Node label (integer)
  • X, Y, Z: Node coordinates
  • U1, U2, U3: Displacement components from the sp step last frame

Complete Export Script

import os
from abaqusConstants import *

work_dir = 'C:\\Users\\...\\work_directory'
recipes = ['P8_mold_recipe_1', 'P8_mold_recipe_2', 'P8_mold_recipe_3']

for name in recipes:
    odb_path = os.path.join(work_dir, name + '.odb')
    odb = session.openOdb(name=name+'_odb', path=odb_path, readOnly=True)

    inst = odb.rootAssembly.instances['P8-1']
    last_frame = odb.steps['sp'].frames[-1]
    u_field = last_frame.fieldOutputs['U']

    u_map = {}
    for val in u_field.values:
        u_map[val.nodeLabel] = (val.data[0], val.data[1], val.data[2])

    csv_path = os.path.join(work_dir, name + '.csv')
    lines = ['Node,X,Y,Z,U1,U2,U3']
    for node in inst.nodes:
        nid = node.label
        x, y, z = node.coordinates
        if nid in u_map:
            u1, u2, u3 = u_map[nid]
            lines.append('%d,%.6f,%.6f,%.6f,%.6f,%.6f,%.6f' % (nid, x, y, z, u1, u2, u3))

    with open(csv_path, 'w') as f:
        f.write('\n'.join(lines))
    odb.close()

Output Details

  • 8-ply model: 5445 nodes exported
  • 4-ply model: 3025 nodes exported
  • Data is extracted from the sp step (springback) last frame, which represents the final deformation

Usage Scenarios

Comparing Ply Layups

Use the CSV output to compare different ply layup configurations:

  • Symmetry analysis of deformation patterns
  • Identifying maximum displacement locations
  • Comparing springback magnitudes across recipes
Extending with Additional Fields

The script can be extended to include additional field outputs by adding more columns:

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

csv-export is a skill published in the GitHub repository Cai-aa/CAE-Agent-Hub (832 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 775 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
