grafel-graph-enrich

grafel-graph-enrich is a skill for Claude Code from cajasmota/grafel. It costs 67 tokens per session (1,783 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool that adds structured YAML metadata to grafel’s knowledge graph, which is a searchable model of a codebase. The metadata helps the dashboard display paths, process flows, and message topics.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when dashboard panels are empty or when you need to enrich indexed HTTP endpoints, process flows, and message topics. It can be run again safely after indexing updates.
Why use it?
It fills dashboard panels with structured information and checks the metadata against the dashboard’s expected format.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00067 $0.01783
Opus 5 $0.00034 $0.00892
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00357
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00178

Security

Grade A, and why

grafel-graph-enrich scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

grafel-graph-enrich

Annotate the grafel knowledge graph with structured YAML frontmatter so the dashboard's Paths, Flows, and Topology panels display rich data. This skill runs in two sequential phases:

  • Phase 1 — Enrichment (prompts/13-enrichment.md): emit YAML frontmatter for every http_endpoint, process_flow, and message_topic entity. Uses tiered model selection (Haiku for most entities, Sonnet for critical band) and batches 20–50 entities per LLM call. Idempotent — already-enriched entities are skipped.
  • Phase 2 — Validation (prompts/14-frontmatter-validation.md): re-read every enriched doc file and verify each field against the backend parser's expectations. Catches schema drift before the user notices a blank dashboard panel.

The skill is independent of prose documentation. The dashboard becomes useful with enrichment alone — even if no tech docs or business docs have been written.

When to use this skill

Invoke when the user asks for any of:

  • "Enrich the Paths panel" / "add summaries to my flows" / "make Topology show data."
  • "Run the enrichment pass."
  • "The dashboard panels are blank — fix that."
  • /grafel-graph-enrich (slash command).

Do not invoke it for prose documentation (that is /grafel-tech-docs). Do not invoke it to repair residual edges (that is /grafel-resolve).

Inputs the skill expects

  • A running grafel daemon (grafel_orient (view=me) must succeed).
  • A registered, indexed group with enrichment candidates in the queue (grafel_docgen_apply(kind="enrichments", action=list, status="pending") returns results).
  • Optional: --delta-only flag — process only entities with status="pending" that are newly added since the last run (the default behaviour; the flag makes it explicit).
  • Optional: --yes flag — skip the cost-estimate confirmation prompt (for automation).
  • Optional: --group <name> — override group when CWD is ambiguous.

If grafel_docgen_apply(kind="enrichments", action=list, status="pending") returns zero results, the skill exits with "No pending enrichment candidates. Nothing to do." (success).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
