Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00063 | $0.04059 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00032 | $0.02030 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00013 | $0.00812 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00406 |
Grade A, and why
n8n-code-javascript scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
This is a copy
100% identical to n8n-code-javascript — 0 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 700 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
JavaScript Code Node
Expert guidance for writing JavaScript code in n8n Code nodes.
Quick Start
// Basic template for Code nodes
const items = $input.all();
// Process data
const processed = items.map(item => ({
json: {
...item.json,
processed: true,
timestamp: new Date().toISOString()
}
}));
return processed;
Essential Rules
- Choose "Run Once for All Items" mode (recommended for most use cases)
- Access data:
$input.all(),$input.first(), or$input.item - CRITICAL: Must return
[{json: {...}}]format - CRITICAL: Webhook data is under
$json.body(not$jsondirectly) - Built-ins available: $helpers.httpRequest(), DateTime (Luxon), $jmespath()
Mode Selection Guide
The Code node offers two execution modes. Choose based on your use case:
Run Once for All Items (Recommended - Default)
Use this mode for: 95% of use cases
- How it works: Code executes once regardless of input count
- Data access:
$input.all()oritemsarray - Best for: Aggregation, filtering, batch processing, transformations, API calls with all data
- Performance: Faster for multiple items (single execution)
// Example: Calculate total from all items
const allItems = $input.all();
const total = allItems.reduce((sum, item) => sum + (item.json.amount || 0), 0);
return [{
json: {
total,
count: allItems.length,
average: total / allItems.length
}
}];
When to use:
- ✅ Comparing items across the dataset
- ✅ Calculating totals, averages, or statistics
- ✅ Sorting or ranking items
- ✅ Deduplication
- ✅ Building aggregated reports
- ✅ Combining data from multiple items
Run Once for Each Item
Use this mode for: Specialized cases only
- How it works: Code executes separately for each input item
- Data access:
$input.itemor$item - Best for: Item-specific logic, independent operations, per-item validation
- Performance: Slower for large datasets (multiple executions)
What ships with it
5 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
- 7d ago First seen · 700 lines · 63 tokens per session scan A 63920d4e44c5
n8n-code-javascript is a skill published in the GitHub repository CarbeneAI/Forge (9 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 63 tokens to every session and 4,059 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. It is 100% identical to n8n-code-javascript, differing in 0 lines, and is treated as a copy.

deserialization-exploitation
Insecure deserialization — RCE via malicious serialized objects in Java (ysoserial), PHP (PHPGGC), .NET (ysoserial.net), and Python (pickle). Covers gadget chain selection, payload generation, and injection into cookies, POST bodies, ViewState, and API endpoints.
ssti-exploitation
Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) — RCE through template engines. Covers Jinja2 (Python/Flask), Twig (PHP/Symfony), Freemarker (Java), ERB (Ruby), Razor (.NET). Includes engine fingerprinting, MRO chain construction, and filter bypass.
ssrf-exploitation
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) — exploiting server-side URL fetching to access internal services, cloud metadata (AWS/GCP/Azure), internal APIs, and port scanning. Covers IP bypass techniques, DNS rebinding, Gopher protocol smuggling, and redirect-based bypass.

Hunt API security misconfiguration — mass assignment, prototype pollution, HTTP verb tampering. Mass assignment: send {isadmin:true, role:admin, verified:true} on profile/account/reset endpoints — server blindly applies.
