repo-code-review

repo-code-review is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from CassianFlorin/skill-hub-registry. It costs 0 tokens per session (195 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A focused procedure for reviewing changes in a software repository before they are merged, released, or handed off. It starts with the changed files and requires evidence for each reported problem.

In plain words
What is it for?
Reviewing diffs, checking public behaviour and compatibility, examining failure and persistence risks, assessing test coverage, and recording assumptions or remaining verification gaps.
Why use it?
It helps identify regressions, security risks, data loss, and missing tests without turning the review into an unrelated rewrite. It separates real findings from personal style preferences.

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00195
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00097
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00039
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00019

Measured 12d ago against content hash 733be9efc338, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

repo-code-review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Repo Code Review

Use this skill when reviewing code changes before merge, release, or handoff.

Instructions

  • Start with the diff and changed files, not a broad rewrite of the project.
  • Prioritize bugs, regressions, security risks, data loss risks, and missing tests.
  • Cite concrete files, functions, commands, or test cases for every finding.
  • Separate findings from style opinions.
  • If no serious issue is found, state that clearly and call out residual test gaps.
  • Do not rewrite code during review unless the user explicitly asks for fixes.

Review Order

  1. Public behavior and compatibility.
  2. Error handling and edge cases.
  3. Data persistence, filesystem, network, or external side effects.
  4. Test coverage for the changed behavior.
  5. Release or migration risks.

Output Shape

  • Findings, ordered by severity.
  • Open questions or assumptions.
  • Verification checked.
  • Short change summary, only after findings.
Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

repo-code-review is a skill published in the GitHub repository CassianFlorin/skill-hub-registry (2 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 195 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
