What is crf-annotation?

A clinical-data annotation method for linking the questions and fields on a case report form, or CRF, to SDTM domains and variables. SDTM is a standard format for organizing clinical-trial data.

Use it to map CRF fields to SDTM domains and variables, recommend where annotations should appear, and build or review an annotated CRF.

It helps make clear where each form value belongs in standardized trial data. This supports creation of an annotated CRF, the marked-up version used for that mapping.
