commit

commit is a skill for Claude Code from chrille0313/agentic-monorepo-template. It costs 31 tokens per session (209 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for making small, focused Git commits using the Conventional Commits message format. Git records code changes, while a commit is one saved set of related changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when committing work, especially before opening a pull request, and when changes can be split into separate behavior, test, documentation, or configuration commits.
Why use it?
It keeps unrelated work out of a commit and makes the reason for each change clear to reviewers and automated checks.

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00031 $0.00209
Opus 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00084
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00042
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00021

Measured yesterday against content hash f2e4d3f61315, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

commit scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Commit the relevant working changes as small, modular commits: one logical change each. Concerns a reviewer reads differently (behavior, refactors, tests, docs, config) get their own commits when separable. Each commit contains only what belongs to it; unrelated leftovers stay out of the series entirely (mention them instead).

Messages follow conventional commits (CI enforces the format). The title says what changed; the body says why: the intent or the problem being solved, never a summary of the diff.

Good:

feat(auth): add session timeout

Users stayed logged in indefinitely, a security risk on shared
devices. Sessions now expire after 24h of inactivity.

Bad: a body that restates what the diff already shows ("added a timeout and updated the hooks"), or says nothing ("fix: fix bug").

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

commit is a skill published in the GitHub repository chrille0313/agentic-monorepo-template (6 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 31 tokens to every session and 209 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-07.
