sap-fiori-add-visual-filter

sap-fiori-add-visual-filter is a skill for Claude Code from cline/skills. It costs 31 tokens per session (1,457 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A guide for adding chart-based filters to SAP Fiori Elements applications. SAP Fiori Elements generates business application screens from metadata, while CAP and ABAP RAP are SAP frameworks for building services and applications.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to add bar or line chart filters to OData V4 filter bars or value-help dialogs, using fields such as category and amount.
Why use it?
It helps configure the data aggregation and annotations needed for visual filters, while requiring the key chart and field choices before implementation.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00031 $0.01457
Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00728
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00291
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00146

Security

Grade A, and why

sap-fiori-add-visual-filter scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

SAP Fiori Visual Filter

Purpose

Add chart-based filters (Bar/Line) to filter bar or value help dialog (OData V4).

MANDATORY: Gather Required Inputs First

STOP and ASK the user for ALL of these inputs if ANY are missing from the prompt:

  1. Entity - Which entity to add the visual filter to
  2. Dimension field - The field to filter by (e.g., Category, Status, Destination)
  3. Measure field - The numeric field to aggregate (e.g., Amount, TotalPrice, ReservationPrice)
  4. Aggregation method - How to aggregate: sum, avg, min, or max
  5. Chart type - Bar or Line (recommend Bar as default)

DO NOT proceed with implementation until all inputs are confirmed.

CAP Implementation

Enable Aggregation (MANDATORY)

@Aggregation.ApplySupported: {
  Transformations: ['aggregate','groupby'],
  AggregatableProperties: [{ Property: Amount }],
  GroupableProperties: [Category]
}

Aggregated Property (Measure)

Analytics.AggregatedProperty #Amount_sum : {
  $Type: 'Analytics.AggregatedPropertyType',
  Name: 'Amount_sum',
  AggregatableProperty: Amount,
  AggregationMethod: 'sum'
}

Chart Annotation

UI.Chart #visualFilter : {
  ChartType: #Bar,
  Dimensions: [Category],
  DynamicMeasures: ['@Analytics.AggregatedProperty#Amount_sum']
}

✅ Uses DynamicMeasures

PresentationVariant

UI.PresentationVariant #visualFilter: {
  Visualizations: ['@UI.Chart#visualFilter']
}

ValueList (on Dimension Field)

Category @Common.ValueList #visualFilter: {
  $Type: 'Common.ValueListType',
  CollectionPath: 'EntityName',
  Parameters: [
    { $Type: 'Common.ValueListParameterInOut', LocalDataProperty: Category, ValueListProperty: 'Category' }
  ],
  PresentationVariantQualifier: 'visualFilter'
}

SelectionFields

UI.SelectionFields: [Category]

ABAP RAP Implementation

  • Aggregation.ApplySupported and Aggregation.CustomAggregate annotations must be available in metadata.xml (RAP). If not, below backend configuration is required.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
