salesforce

salesforce is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from CraftOS-dev/CraftBot. It costs 74 tokens per session (3,043 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A connection to Salesforce, a customer-management system used to store contacts, companies, leads, and sales opportunities. It supports authenticated API access to query and manage those records.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to search Salesforce records with SOQL, create or update CRM objects, and run batch data operations.
Why use it?
It removes the need to build and maintain the connection and authentication flow yourself.

These are SkillSpector’s own severities. On a checked sample its high-severity flags on skills were ~96% false positives — a documented command, a public API, a “never do X” rule — so we show them as a caution to read, not a verdict. Why →

    Code accesses credential files (SSH keys, AWS credentials, etc.). This could indicate credential theft attempts.
    Fix: Remove references to credential paths. Use environment variables or secrets managers. For docs, use placeholder paths (e.g., /path/to/config). Never load .env or token files in production code paths.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00074 $0.03043
Opus 5 $0.00037 $0.01522
Sonnet 5 $0.00015 $0.00609

Security

Grade A, and why

salesforce scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 399 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Salesforce

Access the Salesforce REST API with managed OAuth authentication. Query records using SOQL, manage sObjects, and perform CRUD operations on your Salesforce data.

Quick Start

# Query contacts
python <<'EOF'
import urllib.request, os, json
req = urllib.request.Request('https://gateway.maton.ai/salesforce/services/data/v59.0/query?q=SELECT+Id,Name,Email+FROM+Contact+LIMIT+10')
req.add_header('Authorization', f'Bearer {os.environ["MATON_API_KEY"]}')
print(json.dumps(json.load(urllib.request.urlopen(req)), indent=2))
EOF

Base URL

https://gateway.maton.ai/salesforce/{native-api-path}

Replace {native-api-path} with the actual Salesforce REST API endpoint path. The gateway proxies requests to {instance}.salesforce.com (automatically replaced with your connection config) and injects your access token.

Authentication

All requests require the Maton API key in the Authorization header:

Authorization: Bearer $MATON_API_KEY

Environment Variable: Set your API key as MATON_API_KEY:

export MATON_API_KEY="YOUR_API_KEY"

Getting Your API Key

  1. Sign in or create an account at maton.ai
  2. Go to maton.ai/settings
  3. Copy your API key

Connection Management

Manage your Salesforce OAuth connections at https://ctrl.maton.ai.

List Connections

python <<'EOF'
import urllib.request, os, json
req = urllib.request.Request('https://ctrl.maton.ai/connections?app=salesforce&status=ACTIVE')
req.add_header('Authorization', f'Bearer {os.environ["MATON_API_KEY"]}')
print(json.dumps(json.load(urllib.request.urlopen(req)), indent=2))
EOF

Create Connection

python <<'EOF'
import urllib.request, os, json
data = json.dumps({'app': 'salesforce'}).encode()
req = urllib.request.Request('https://ctrl.maton.ai/connections', data=data, method='POST')
req.add_header('Authorization', f'Bearer {os.environ["MATON_API_KEY"]}')
req.add_header('Content-Type', 'application/json')
print(json.dumps(json.load(urllib.request.urlopen(req)), indent=2))
EOF

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

salesforce is a skill published in the GitHub repository CraftOS-dev/CraftBot (380 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 74 tokens to every session and 3,043 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
