Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00042 | $0.00999 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00017 | $0.00400 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00008 | $0.00200 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00004 | $0.00100 |
Grade A, and why
who-gho-guide scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 50 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Scope
Use WHO GHO for country and aggregate health statistics, including life expectancy, disease, mortality, immunization, and health-system indicators. The upstream API is public and needs no key. These tools return catalog names, dimension catalogs, and observations; they do not provide clinical advice or complete indicator methodology. Observation years describe the data period, not when WHO last updated it; the tools do not expose an update timestamp.
Identifiers
| Identifier | Source |
|---|---|
| Indicator code | who_search_indicators or who_list_indicators; use the returned canonical spelling, not a code inferred from a name |
| Dimension type | who_list_dimensions, indicator metadata, or an observation's dimension type |
| Dimension value | who_list_dimension_values for that type; join its code to the observation's value to recover a label |
| Country or aggregate code | The corresponding COUNTRY, REGION, or WORLDBANKINCOMEGROUP values; COUNTRY includes historical WHO codes beyond current ISO alpha-3 codes |
parentLocation and parentLocationCode describe the row's parent WHO region, not the name and code of the row's own geography. Resolve the row's spatialDim using its spatialDimType catalog.
Gates
- Before comparing observations, confirm that indicator, geography type, year, sex, and any age/cause strata represent the intended comparison. Keep the full indicator name and actual observation years in the answer.
- Before applying an age or cause filter, inspect returned dimension type/value pairs. Metadata lists dimension types without assigning positions. Match a discovered value to its observed position; the same kind of dimension need not occupy the same slot across indicators.
- An empty metadata dimension list is not evidence that the indicator or its data is absent. Follow
dimensionsNotewith a constrained data query and inspect the rows. One sample shows the coordinates on that sample, not every stratum available for the indicator. - Before an exhaustive ranking or an absence claim, follow pagination for the relevant selection and check coverage of every requested country or aggregate. A newest-first page across several countries does not establish the latest available observation for each one.
- Treat
no_dataas no observations matching the selected filters. Check code provenance and dimension positions, then broaden one filter at a time before concluding that data is unavailable. An upstream failure does not establish absence. - Read notices and applied filters before interpreting results. An ignored empty filter does not restrict the query. Submit any metadata
unprocessedCodesin subsequent calls; they have not been checked and do not belong innotFound. - Preserve missing numeric values, years, dimensions, and uncertainty bounds as missing. Do not replace them with zero or infer a missing bound from the other bound.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

who-gho-guide is a skill published in the GitHub repository cyanheads/who-gho-mcp-server (3 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 42 tokens to every session and 999 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-27.
