review-plan

review-plan is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from davidomil/cloudx. It costs 24 tokens per session (314 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A review guide for checking whether a software change plan is complete, correctly owned, and testable. It examines the plan against the relevant source code, project rules, and architecture documents.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review a plan's module ownership, production entry points, consumers, risks, reviewers, verification commands, and claim-to-test coverage before implementation.
Why use it?
It helps find missing affected paths, unclear compatibility assumptions, overlooked failure cases, and tests that would not actually prove the change works.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00024 $0.00314
Opus 5 $0.00012 $0.00157
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00063
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00031

Security

Grade A, and why

review-plan scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Review Plan

Responsibility

Judge one plan. Return findings or a clean verdict; do not revise the plan, implement code, or mutate GitHub.

Isolation

Run in a fresh context. Receive only:

  • original task;
  • trusted root/scoped instructions and architecture docs;
  • policy classification;
  • the plan artifact and current source needed to verify it.

Do not receive the planner's conversation. Bind the result to the plan digest and exact base/head SHA.

Review Lenses

  • Correct module owner and production seam.
  • Complete affected paths, consumers, serialized boundaries and lifecycle.
  • Policy classification, risk, reviewers, checks and human-review decision.
  • Compatibility assumptions and explicit user decisions.
  • Two real analogous anchors.
  • One claim-to-test row per behavior with a production entry point, revert-failing assertion and meaningful negative cases.
  • Failure, cancellation, cleanup, concurrency, security, UX and recovery cases appropriate to the scope.
  • Verification commands that cover every classified area.

Output

Produce JSON matching .agents/schemas/review.schema.json with subject: "plan" and reviewer_role: "review-plan". clean means zero findings. Every blocked finding needs a stable ID, severity, category, path/line evidence and required fix.

An iteration ceiling remains blocked. Never lower a finding to let work start.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
