Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

| Fable 5.1 | $0.00135 | $0.01941 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00054 | $0.00776 |

Grade A, and why
proprietary-data-moat scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 103 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Proprietary Data Moat
Overview
In the AI era, models and compute can be bought. What can become an advantage is data others cannot get that makes the product better the more it is used — and most claimed "data moats" fail that test. Casado & Lauten (a16z, 2019): most data defensibility "actually boil[s] down to scale effects," and "the cost of adding unique data to your corpus may actually go up, while the value of incremental data goes down." Hagiu & Wright (HBR, 2020): people "grossly overestimate the advantage that data confers"; it holds only when the data offers high and lasting value, is proprietary, and leads to improvements that cannot easily be imitated.
Core mechanism: inventory the data → pass uniqueness and compounding tests → design the feedback loop → secure rights and quality → turn it into an advantage the customer can feel. Rights are a hard gate, not an afterthought: regulators have ordered companies to delete models trained on improperly obtained data (FTC, Everalbum, 2021).
Compose with economic-moat (moat types) · network-effects (telling data scale effects apart from true network effects) · feedback-loops (the flywheel) · switching-costs (data lock-in).
When to Use
- The product depends on AI and you need to know whether its differentiation is durable
- Fundraising or strategy work raises the question of data defensibility
- Deciding whether to invest in data collection, labeling, or data partnerships
When NOT to use: the data has no product use · pure engineering or tooling choice · data ownership is unclear — resolve rights and compliance before discussing a moat.
Coaching Novices (Adaptive Front Door)
Engine mode: user has concrete data assets → run The Process directly. Coach mode: user is unfamiliar → guide step by step.
In Coach mode, respond one step at a time. Each [WAIT] is a hard stop — output only that step's question, then stop.
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

proprietary-data-moat is a skill published in the GitHub repository deciqAI/knowledge-skills (13 stars, last pushed 5d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 135 tokens to every session and 1,941 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-26.
Other skills, from other repositories
prompt-master
Generates optimized prompts for AI tools. Activates only when the user explicitly asks to write, fix, improve, or adapt a prompt for a specific AI tool (LLM, Cursor, Midjourney, image AI, video AI, coding agents, etc.). Does not activate for general conversation, coding tasks, document writing, or other…
ai-data-steward
Creates a minimal, sourced, versioned context contract for AI-assisted work across teams, including freshness, quality checks, permitted use, and correction ownership. Use when the user says "teams have different facts", "clean up shared AI context", "make this dataset usable", or "stop stale context reaching Sales".
mcp-builder
Scaffolds and ships MCP servers in Python (FastMCP) or TypeScript (@modelcontextprotocol/sdk) — tools designed around workflows rather than raw endpoints, with model-guiding schemas and error messages, pagination, a direct-call test harness, and wiring into .mcp.json or claude mcp add. Use when the user says "build an…
