What is yt-dlp-downloader?

A guide for downloading video and audio from YouTube and many other video websites with yt-dlp, a command-line download tool. It also covers checking or installing the required tools and using proxies or cookies when needed.

Use it when given a video URL or asked to download video or audio from services such as YouTube, Bilibili, or Vimeo.

It removes the need to work out the downloader setup and command options manually for supported video sites.

Quick Start
