agent-bank: Skill for OpenCode

.opencode/skill/send-test-emails/SKILL.md

send-test-emails is a skill for OpenCode from different-ai/agent-bank. It costs 0 tokens per session (937 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for sending realistic test emails through Resend, an email-sending service. It is intended for demos, testing an AI email agent, and recording videos without relying on real incoming mail.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to send a test recipient address, subject, and HTML or plain-text body. It requires a Resend API key and stops if that key is missing.
Why use it?
It provides controlled messages for testing an inbox or email pipeline. Each send returns a message ID so the result can be traced.

Skill for OpenCode

Written for OpenCode: installed under .opencode/. Also seen: mentions OpenCode.

This is different-ai/agent-bank's own configuration. It tells OpenCode how to work on agent-bank itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything agent-bank configures →

Needs its repository: it reads a path above its own folder, which exists only inside the repository. The line is config({ path: path.join(process.cwd(), '../../.opencode/skill/send-test-emails/.env') });.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00937
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00468
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00187
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00094

Measured 7d ago against content hash ffd79f046566, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

send-test-emails scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Send Test Emails

Send test/mock emails programmatically using Resend for demos, testing AI email agent, or video recordings.

Skill Contract

Purpose

  • Send realistic test emails into the AI inbox for demos and pipeline validation.

Inputs

  • Recipient address, subject, and HTML/text body.

Outputs

  • Resend message ID for traceability.

Canonical Inbox

Credentials

  • Requires RESEND_API_KEY in .opencode/skill/send-test-emails/.env.
  • If missing, ask the user to provide it and stop.

Completion Signals

  • complete when the message ID is returned.
  • error when the send fails.

Quick One-Liner

cd packages/web && npx tsx -e "
import { Resend } from 'resend';
import { config } from 'dotenv';
import * as path from 'path';

config({ path: path.join(process.cwd(), '../../.opencode/skill/send-test-emails/.env') });

const resend = new Resend(process.env.RESEND_API_KEY);

resend.emails.send({
  from: 'Sender Name <[email protected]>',
  to: '[email protected]',
  subject: 'Your subject here',
  html: '<p>Your HTML content</p>',
}).then(r => console.log('✅ Sent:', r.data?.id));
"

Available Domains

Only these domains are verified in Resend:

  • zerofinance.ai - Primary domain for test emails
  • 0.finance - Production domain

Important: The "from" email signature should match the from address domain. Don't lie about email addresses (e.g., don't show @northstarventures.co in signature when sending from @zerofinance.ai).

Send Email with PDF Attachment

import { Resend } from 'resend';
import puppeteer from 'puppeteer';

// Generate PDF from HTML
const browser = await puppeteer.launch({ headless: true });
const page = await browser.newPage();
await page.setContent(invoiceHtml, { waitUntil: 'networkidle0' });
const pdfBuffer = await page.pdf({ format: 'A4', printBackground: true });
await browser.close();

// Send with attachment
await resend.emails.send({
  from: 'Name <[email protected]>',
  to: '[email protected]',
  subject: 'Invoice attached',
  html: '<p>See attached invoice</p>',
  attachments: [
    {
      filename: 'Invoice.pdf',
      content: Buffer.from(pdfBuffer),
    },
  ],
});

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

send-test-emails is a skill published in the GitHub repository different-ai/agent-bank (249 stars, last pushed 5mo ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 937 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
