preflight

A project-specific pre-push check for the open-managed-agents repository. It runs TypeScript type checking and all Vitest test groups, where Vitest is the project's JavaScript and TypeScript test runner.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it from the repository root before pushing or opening a pull request, and report the exact failing output if either check fails.
Why use it?
It catches type errors and test failures before code is pushed or a pull request is opened, especially because this repository has no server-side workflow enforcing those checks.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00051 $0.00264
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00132
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00053
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00026

Security

Grade A, and why

preflight scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Run the repo's complete local verification gate, in order, from the repo root.

  1. pnpm typecheck — root tsc --noEmit plus the node-only typecheck pass.
  2. pnpm test — runs all three vitest suites in sequence (Cloudflare Workers pool → node-pool packages → console).

Both are composite scripts in the root package.json. Run them as-is — do not substitute the individual sub-runs (vitest run, test:packages, test:console); they drift when the scripts change.

Report the outcome plainly:

  • If both pass, say so and that the branch is safe to push.
  • If either fails, show the failing output and stop — do not report success, and never skip a suite silently. Fix forward, or surface the failure and ask.

Why this skill exists: there is no test/typecheck GitHub workflow, so nothing gates PRs server-side. This local run is the gate.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

preflight is a skill published in the GitHub repository duyet/oma (5 stars, last pushed 13d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 51 tokens to every session and 264 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
