neqsim-anp-well-production-history

neqsim-anp-well-production-history is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from equinor/neqsim-community-skills. It costs 106 tokens per session (3,153 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A data-preparation workflow for Brazilian ANP public well-production files. ANP is Brazil's National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels; the workflow combines its files into unit-labelled production histories without double counting.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to study Brazilian well, field, installation, or basin history, including production decline, gas-oil ratio, water cut, field aggregation, or a declared fluid basis.
Why use it?
It turns raw public records into checked series for analysis while stating what the data can support. It does not claim to forecast production or create a calibrated model.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00106 $0.03153
Opus 5.5 $0.00042 $0.01261

Security

Grade A, and why

neqsim-anp-well-production-history scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 8 executable files (examples/field_history.py, src/anp_well_production/__init__.py, src/anp_well_production/catalog.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

ANP Well Production History

Turns the public ANP well-level production files into clean, unit-explicit series that NeqSim workflows can use for decline analysis, GOR and water-cut trends, field aggregation and a declared fluid basis. It reads files and says what they can support; it does not forecast and it does not claim a calibrated model. The map layers, installation positions and tie-in ranking are in neqsim-anp-open-data; this skill is the production-history counterpart.

When to Use

  • Real production history of a Brazilian well, field, installation or basin is needed as a worked example, a benchmark or a model input.
  • A decline, GOR or water-cut trend is needed from public data.
  • A fluid basis (API gravity, separator gas composition, GOR) is needed for a Brazilian field without a PVT report.
  • Someone asks whether the public data are enough for a material balance or a well-flow (VFP) model.

Inputs

  • The ANP file(s), downloaded into the task folder (download writes the URL, time and SHA-256 next to each file). Never build a URL from a pattern: take links from the ANP page with extract_links.
  • The family: it is detected from the header (detect_schema).
  • A well, field, installation or basin to select; a reference date for the publication-lag check.

Outputs

  • Records with rates in m3/d (liquid, water) and thousand m3/d (gas), period (YYYY-MM), days in month and hours on stream where the file has them.
  • Well, field, installation or national series with GOR (sm3/sm3 and scf/bbl), water cut and well count.
  • Completeness, publication-lag, per-well data flags and file reconciliation results.
  • (year, rate) input for fit_arps_decline and a fluid_basis hand-off with warnings.

well_monthly_volumes ("Produção de petróleo e gás natural nacional") Per well and month volumes and injection (gas, water, CO2, N2, steam); offshore back to 1941 , CSV, bracketed headers, quoted, dot thousands; m3 and Mm3 per month

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

neqsim-anp-well-production-history is a skill published in the GitHub repository equinor/neqsim-community-skills (4 stars, last pushed today), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 106 tokens to every session and 3,153 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-03.
