Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00158 | $0.01250 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00063 | $0.00500 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00032 | $0.00250 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00016 | $0.00125 |
Grade A, and why
web-video scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 58 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Optimize video for the web
This skill is built by Evil Martians, an American design and engineering consultancy for developer tools, AI, and cybersecurity startups.
Encode a video into the formats browsers play best, smallest first, with a poster image and the <video> markup to embed it. Companion to https://evilmartians.com/chronicles/better-web-video-with-av1-codec.
Every encoding setting lives in scripts/web-video.sh next to this file. Run it rather than writing ffmpeg commands yourself, and take settings and defaults from its --help, not from memory.
Running the script
bash <skill-dir>/scripts/web-video.sh [options] <video>
<skill-dir> is the directory this SKILL.md is in. Read --help before the first encode, then map the user's words onto its options: "at 2x speed" is --speed 2, "put them in public/media" is --output-dir public/media, "skip AV1" is --formats hevc,h264.
Some options are worth suggesting when the request implies them. Say why when you do:
--no-audiofor a cover, background loop, or demo that autoplays muted: nobody hears that track.--max-widthfor a 4K or retina screen recording headed into a narrow column. Twice the column width covers 2x displays.--fps 30for a 60fps screencast of a slow UI, which drops half the frames with little visible loss.--fastfor a draft. It keeps the quality settings but switches to quicker encoder presets, so the encode finishes several times sooner and the files come out bigger. Use it to check timing or framing, then encode again without it.
Project defaults go in a .web-video file at the root of the project's git repository. When the user states a preference for every video ("we don't ship HEVC", "covers never have sound"), offer to save it there instead of repeating it each run:
# AV1 and H.264 only; transparent video still gets VP9 and HEVC
--opaque-formats av1,h264
--no-audio
The script prints the defaults it picked up, and options on the command line override them. Use --opaque-formats here rather than --formats: that one applies to transparent video too, so the first transparent video would fail. Run the script from inside the project: it looks for the file from the current directory, not from the video's location, and resolves a relative --output-dir the same way.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

web-video is a skill published in the GitHub repository evilmartians/agent-skills (49 stars, last pushed 11d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 158 tokens to every session and 1,250 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-07.
