triage-issue

triage-issue is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from fallow-rs/fallow. It costs 53 tokens per session (175 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A GitHub issue review process that compares a bug report or feature request with the current codebase. GitHub is a service for hosting code and tracking issues.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for checking issue details and comments, inspecting related code, setting priority and scope, and writing acceptance criteria tied to the code.
Why use it?
It helps determine whether an issue is valid, already covered, unclear, too broad, or worth changing, instead of judging it from the report alone.

About the project

Fallow is a command-line static-analysis tool that builds a dependency graph of TypeScript and JavaScript code to identify unused code, duplication, circular dependencies, complexity hotspots, boundary violations, and styling drift. It is for developers reviewing codebases and verifying changes, with catalogue entries that add agent, editor, and workflow integrations.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00053 $0.00175
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00088
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00035
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00017

Measured 5d ago against content hash 045a474ffeb0, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

triage-issue scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Triage Issue

Use the GitHub connector and local repo inspection together.

Workflow:

  1. Fetch the issue and comments.
  2. Inspect the relevant code paths locally.
  3. Determine whether the issue is valid, overstated, underspecified, or already covered.
  4. Recommend priority and whether the issue should be kept, split, narrowed, or closed.
  5. Give acceptance criteria tied to the current codebase.

When useful, pull in:

  • rust-review
  • panel-review
  • team-assembly

Always cite local file references for implementation claims.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
