Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00082 $0.03210
Opus 5 $0.00041 $0.01605
Sonnet 5 $0.00016 $0.00642
Haiku 4.5 $0.00008 $0.00321

Security

Grade A, and why

career-strategy-for-leaders scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Career Strategy for Leaders

CROSSROADS. Most leaders arrive at one sometime between their tenth and twentieth year of management. The recognition is uncomfortable: their career happened to them. Promotions arrived because they were competent, not because they were strategic. Opportunities materialized through proximity, not design. Titles accumulated like sediment -- layers of accidental geology rather than intentional architecture. The leader who never planned a career trajectory is not unusual; they are the statistical norm. Brian Fetherstonhaugh's research for HBR suggests that the majority of professionals dramatically underestimate how long their careers will last, which means they under-invest in the skills, relationships, and experiences that sustain performance across decades. A career without strategy is not a career. It is an extended reaction to whatever happens next.

The antidote is not a five-year plan pinned to the wall. It is a set of recurring practices -- honest self-assessment, deliberate habit management, resistance to the seductions of past success -- that transform career drift into career design.

The Framework

Career strategy for leaders operates across four interlocking dimensions. None functions in isolation; neglecting any one dimension eventually undermines the others.

1. Timeline Awareness

Most leaders assume their career is roughly half over when in reality it has decades remaining. The first discipline of career strategy is calculating -- with uncomfortable specificity -- how many working years remain. Factor in retirement age norms, industry velocity, health trajectories, and financial requirements. Leaders who confront their actual timeline make qualitatively different decisions about what to invest in next. A leader with thirty years remaining cannot afford to coast on a single expertise domain. A leader with five years remaining cannot afford to defer the work they actually care about.

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
