Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00121 $0.04657
Opus 5 $0.00060 $0.02329
Sonnet 5 $0.00024 $0.00931
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00466

Security

Grade A, and why

creative-completion-and-renewal scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Completion and Renewal

The hardest creative act is not starting. Starting is cheap, intoxicating, and abundant. The hardest creative act is releasing -- declaring a thing finished when every instinct whispers that one more pass, one more feature, one more revision could make it perfect. the text states the matter with characteristic quiet: "The only art the world gets to enjoy is from creators who've overcome these hurdles and released their work. Perhaps still greater artists existed than the ones we know, but they were never able to make this leap." The graveyard of entrepreneurship is not filled with bad ideas. It is filled with unreleased products, unshipped features, and unlaunched ventures -- work that was perpetually almost ready. Completion demands a different muscle than creation. And renewal -- the act of beginning again with a clean slate after the release -- demands a different muscle still.

The Framework

the book's philosophy of completion and renewal unfolds across eight interconnected principles, each addressing a distinct failure mode in the transition from making to releasing to making again.

1. The Completion Threshold

"When is the work done?" the text asks. "There is no formula or method for finding this answer. It is an intuition: The work is done when you feel it is." This radical subjectivity is precisely what makes completion so difficult. There is no external checklist that certifies readiness. The entrepreneur must develop an internal signal -- analogous to the book's "ecstatic" compass -- that distinguishes between "not yet ready" and "resisting release."

the text acknowledges the Completion phase is non-linear. Preparing work for release may reveal gaps that require returning to craft or experimentation: "You may realize there's more to be done. A revision, an addition, a deletion. So you step back to Craft or Experiment, and work your way forward once more." The discipline is distinguishing between genuine gaps and invented ones -- between the revision that serves the work and the revision that delays its release.
