Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

What it costs to keep this loaded
Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00113 | $0.03738 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00056 | $0.01869 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00023 | $0.00748 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00374 |
Grade A, and why
leader-self-reflection scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 215 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Read runtime and advisory rules before applying this skill. Other Foreman layers and the catalog are in ../../content/, relative to this SKILL.md.
Leader Self-Reflection
A leader who does not reflect does not learn. They accumulate years of experience and repeat the first year twenty times. They confuse tenure with development, pattern recognition with wisdom, and the absence of complaints with the presence of trust. The most dangerous leader in any organisation is not the one who makes mistakes -- everyone does -- but the one who lacks the self-awareness to see them, the humility to examine them, and the discipline to build a practice that prevents their repetition.
Self-reflection is not meditation, journaling for its own sake, or the vague aspiration to "be more mindful." It is a structured diagnostic process -- a set of specific questions, applied with regularity, that surfaces the gap between how you believe you lead and how you actually do. Peter Drucker, Robert Kaplan, and Daniel Goleman converge on the same conclusion from different angles: the leaders who perform best are those who have built systematic methods for examining their own behaviour, not occasionally during a retreat, but as a recurring discipline woven into the rhythm of work.
The Practice
The Seven Reflection Domains
Each domain addresses a different facet of leadership effectiveness. Neglecting any one of them creates a blind spot that compounds over time.
1. Vision Clarity The question: How often and how well do you communicate a vision and priorities for your team?
In the turbulence of daily operations, it is easy to stop articulating the bigger picture. But people cannot focus their efforts -- or sustain motivation -- if they do not know where they are going and why. The reflection discipline: at the end of each week, ask whether your team could articulate your three top priorities. If you doubt they could, the problem is not their attention; it is your communication.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

leader-self-reflection is a skill published in the GitHub repository fatihguner/foreman (50 stars, last pushed 4d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 113 tokens to every session and 3,738 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-06.
