Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

What it costs to keep this loaded
Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00142 | $0.04718 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00071 | $0.02359 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00028 | $0.00944 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00014 | $0.00472 |
Grade A, and why
stoic-mortality-and-perspective scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 216 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Stoic Mortality and Perspective
LAST DAY. Marcus Aurelius, the most powerful man in the Western world, began each morning with a thought that would strike most modern executives as morbid: "I may die today." He was not morbid. He was strategic. The meditation did not make him fearful; it made him a better emperor. It eliminated the trivial, accelerated the consequential, and imposed a ruthless filter on how to spend the only resource that cannot be replenished: time. Seneca compressed the same insight into a formula that has lost none of its edge across two millennia: "Let us prepare our minds as if we'd come to the very end of life. Let us postpone nothing. Let us balance life's books each day. The one who puts the finishing touches on their life each day is never short of time." The entrepreneur who treats every day as potentially the last does not become reckless. They become precise. Mortality is not the enemy of ambition. It is the lens through which ambition is focused.
The Framework
Stoic meditation on mortality -- memento mori -- is not a morbid exercise but a cognitive technology. It operates through five distinct mechanisms, each producing practical benefits for the entrepreneur.
Mechanism 1: The Priority Filter
"Don't behave as if you are destined to live forever. What's fated hangs over you. As long as you live and while you can, become good now." -- Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
The Sword of Damocles -- the blade suspended by a single hair above the throne -- is the ancient world's most vivid metaphor for mortality's relationship to power. Every founder sits beneath a similar blade: the venture could end, health could fail, the market could vanish. Acknowledging the sword does not induce paralysis; it induces clarity. Activities that would not survive the question "Would I do this if I had six months left?" reveal themselves as waste. Meetings that exist out of habit, features that serve vanity, conflicts that feed ego -- all of them wither under mortality's gaze.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

stoic-mortality-and-perspective is a skill published in the GitHub repository fatihguner/foreman (50 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 142 tokens to every session and 4,718 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-06.
Other skills, from other repositories
less-is-more-priorities
A method for choosing a small number of priorities when a team has more goals than it can handle. A priority is a result that receives focused attention before less important work.
Focus Timer
Structured focus sessions using Pomodoro and deep work timing techniques.
monkey-mind-meditation
A meditation and reflection guide for a busy or anxious mind. It treats recurring thoughts as something to observe and examine, while noting that acute serious mental-health problems need professional care.
life-meaning
A guide for reflecting on personal purpose, effort, suffering, and mortality when life feels empty or directionless.
viewport
Control the Unreal Editor level viewport — camera type/position, view mode, FOV, exposure, layout, and rendering settings (ViewportService). Use when the user asks to move the editor camera, change the view mode (Lit/Unlit/Wireframe), set FOV/exposure, switch viewport layout, or frame the level for a screenshot.
legacy-circuit-mockups
Breadboard circuit mockups via HTML5 Canvas. Use when creating circuit layouts, visualizing 6502/retro electronics components, drawing breadboard diagrams, or designing vintage computer schematics with discrete parts.
