Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

What it costs to keep this loaded
Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00117 | $0.03979 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00059 | $0.01989 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00023 | $0.00796 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00012 | $0.00398 |
Grade A, and why
stoic-unbiased-thought scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 218 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Stoic Unbiased Thought
Every event is neutral -- what makes it good or bad is the colour of the lens through which you perceive it. Marcus Aurelius, who had more reason than most to see the world as either magnificent or terrible, spent years training himself to do neither. Instead, he practised a form of radical descriptive simplicity: wine is "old grape juice," imperial purple robes are "sheep's wool dyed in shellfish blood," sex is "rubbing and a spasmic discharge." The exercise sounds almost comically reductive, and that is precisely the point. By stripping objects and events of the value judgments we habitually attach to them, the Stoics revealed a startling truth: most of what we believe about the world is not observation but interpretation -- and interpretation, unlike observation, can be trained, corrected, and improved.
The Framework
The Perceiving Eye and the Observing Eye
The Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi distinguished between the "perceiving eye" and the "observing eye." The observing eye sees what is. The perceiving eye sees what things supposedly mean. Marcus Aurelius, writing centuries earlier in a different civilisation, arrived at the same insight: "It isn't events themselves that disturb people, but only their judgments about them."
This distinction has direct operational consequences for entrepreneurs:
| Observing Eye | Perceiving Eye |
|---|---|
| Revenue declined 12% this quarter | We're failing |
| A key engineer gave notice | He's betraying us |
| The board asked for a revised forecast | They've lost confidence in me |
| A competitor raised a large round | We're going to be crushed |
The left column is data. The right column is narrative -- and narrative, once it takes hold, shapes every subsequent decision. The Stoic practice of unbiased thought is the systematic effort to operate from the left column before permitting the right one any influence.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

stoic-unbiased-thought is a skill published in the GitHub repository fatihguner/foreman (50 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 117 tokens to every session and 3,979 once invoked, about $0.0006 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-06.
