pentest-bizlogic

pentest-bizlogic is a skill for Claude Code from fatihkan/badi. It costs 57 tokens per session (1,031 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A security-testing guide for finding business-rule flaws that automated scanners often miss, such as changing prices, reusing coupons, or skipping checkout steps. It provides human-led methods and checklists.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review payments, discounts, refunds, account recovery, multi-step workflows, vouchers, and permission changes for bypasses and race conditions.
Why use it?
It helps uncover bugs where an application follows the wrong business rules even though its code and technical security checks appear normal.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00057 $0.01031
Opus 5 $0.00028 $0.00515
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00206
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00103

Security

Grade A, and why

pentest-bizlogic scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

pentest-bizlogic

Advisory for business-logic vulnerabilities automated scans miss. Requires human analysis — this skill provides methodology + checklists.

Triggers

  • "race condition test"
  • "price manipulation"
  • "workflow bypass"
  • "coupon abuse"
  • "refund flow vulnerability"
  • "checkout flow analysis"

Common Bizlogic Categories

Category Example Test
Price manipulation Change the cart price in the POST body Negative price, decimal precision, currency mismatch
Race condition 5 parallel /api/redeem-coupon Use the coupon 2x via a race
Workflow bypass POST directly to step 3 (skip 1, 2) State machine skipping
Coupon abuse Single-use coupon across multiple accounts No coupon scope
Refund abuse Refund > original No server-side total recalc
Account recovery Username + date of birth -> reset link Missing out-of-band factor
Voucher generation Voucher code predictable (sequential) Insufficient entropy
MFA bypass login_step=2 POST directly -> token Insecure server state
Privilege grant User A invites User B -> B becomes admin Role inheritance flaw

Race Condition Test Pattern

# 5 parallel requests — functional reuse test
for i in {1..5}; do
  curl -X POST https://<target>/api/redeem -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN" \
       -d '{"coupon":"SAVE10"}' &
done
wait

# Expectation: 1 success + 4 errors
# Vulnerability: 5 successes -> coupon stacking via a race

More controlled: Turbo Intruder (Burp), Repeater Group "Send in parallel" (Burp Pro 2023+).

Price Manipulation Checklist

  • Is the cart price client-side (change it in the POST body, does the server accept it)
  • Currency code swap (USD -> EUR, server doesn't recalc the total)
  • Decimal precision (price: 1.99 -> 1.99999, which version is saved)
  • Negative quantity (qty: -1 -> negative invoice, credit issued)
  • Discount > 100% (coupon 110% discount, payable negative)
  • Promo + sale price (two discounts stacked, is it forbidden)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
