writer-light-novel

writer-light-novel is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Firstp1ck/pi-coding-agent-forge. It costs 30 tokens per session (384 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A planning and drafting workflow for light novels, a form of fiction often written with readable prose, strong character voices, and stories that may continue across volumes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan or write light-novel chapters and volumes, manage continuity, shape narration, and optionally mark places where illustrations could support the story.
Why use it?
It helps organize both the immediate problem of one volume and the larger questions of a series without forcing unrequested genre assumptions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00030 $0.00384
Opus 5.5 $0.00012 $0.00154
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00077
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00038

Security

Grade A, and why

writer-light-novel scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 28d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Light novels

When to use

Use when the author explicitly chooses light-novel form, including original stories or adaptations.

Inputs and assumptions

Ask for audience, language, genre, intended volume scope, narration style, and whether illustration notes are wanted. Do not assume an isekai, school setting, romance, or young audience solely from the format.

Portable workflow

  1. Read the light-novel guidance in formats.
  2. Define the volume's local problem and the longer series questions. Give the volume its own payoff.
  3. Establish a narrator whose attention, humor, and emotional blind spots are recognizable.
  4. Balance dialogue, internal thought, and action according to the scene rather than a fixed ratio.
  5. Introduce world rules when they affect a decision. Avoid treating dialogue as a textbook or explaining every implied feeling.
  6. If requested, mark a few illustration opportunities outside the prose. Describe their story purpose without invoking an image service.
  7. Save the requested chapter or volume plan using the project workflow.

Safety and side effects

Respect the author's language and content boundaries. Do not add Japanese terms, fanservice, genre tropes, or imitation of a particular series without a relevant request.

Scripts, references, and dependencies

No external tools required. Style and serial-fiction guidance can be combined when appropriate.

Verification

Check narrator and character voice separation, clear scene progression, useful internal monologue, local volume payoff, and unresolved series promises.

Pi adapter

Use /writer new book "Letters from the Moon Station" --format light-novel --style "emotional, humorous".

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
