mockup-fidelity

mockup-fidelity is a skill for Claude Code from fledgeling-co/fledgeling-plugins. It costs 338 tokens per session (8,180 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A measurement-based workflow for checking whether a React or React Native interface matches a reference mockup. It compares rendered screens, including different states and dialogs, and records visual and functional differences.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for testing implemented web or mobile interfaces against screenshots or mockups and documenting which elements are present, different, or missing.
Why use it?
Small layout, styling, or interaction differences are easy to miss when checking by eye or reading source code. This identifies mismatches in the running interface and helps close the gaps.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00338 $0.08180
Opus 5.5 $0.00135 $0.03272
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00068 $0.01636
Haiku 4.5 $0.00034 $0.00818

Security

Grade A, and why

mockup-fidelity scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 18 executable files (assets/diff/analyze.js, assets/diff/capture-subtree.js, assets/diff/capture.mjs, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Mockup Fidelity

Running as a Gemini model? Read gemini.md in this directory first, then follow this file with the overrides it names. Turns mockup-fidelity's categorical promises into a numbered quota ledger (9 detector classes, 11 affordance classes, frames × states) and its stated maxima into a bound ledger read back off the artifact, requires the exit code and each inconclusive reason string to be quoted rather than summarised — because on this engine capture.mjs --assert can only return 3 — turns Phase 2's "goes through proctor" into four files each phase must open, and routes Phase 6's code changes out. Other models skip it.

First, two quick exits

An empty or bare invocation gets one question, not an inventory of nothing. If the request is just "check fidelity", "does it match", or "audit the UI" with no reference and no target named, ask in one line for the reference (what renders the truth) and the target (what to fix), then stop.

If the request names either one, or describes a screen concretely enough to find it, that is a brief — start Phase 0.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
