Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00018 $0.00908
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00454
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00182
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00091

Security

Grade A, and why

add-translations scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Add/Update Translations

Add or update i18n keys in both locale files simultaneously.

Gather Information

Ask the user for:

  1. Keys to add - either as a flat list or nested namespace
  2. English text for each key
  3. Arabic text (optional - will generate best-effort if not provided)
  4. Namespace (e.g., "products", "auth", "validation") - where to place the keys

Steps

1. Read Both Locale Files

Read the current contents of:

  • src/i18n/locales/en.json
  • src/i18n/locales/ar.json

2. Determine Key Placement

Keys follow dot-notation namespacing:

{
  "namespace": {
    "keyName": "Value"
  }
}

Standard namespaces in this project:

  • common - Shared action words (loading, cancel, save, delete, etc.)
  • tabs - Tab bar labels
  • home - Home screen content
  • settings - Settings screen content
  • errors - Error messages
  • validation - Form validation messages
  • <feature> - Feature-specific keys (products, orders, etc.)
  • fields - Form field labels (shared across features)

3. Merge New Keys

  • Add new keys under the correct namespace in BOTH files
  • If the namespace doesn't exist, create it in both files
  • Never overwrite existing keys unless explicitly asked to update them
  • Maintain alphabetical ordering within namespaces where practical

4. Arabic Translations

For Arabic translations:

  • Provide accurate translations for common UI terms
  • Use formal Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic) as default
  • For uncertain translations, provide a best-effort translation and add a TODO comment in the commit message listing uncertain keys
  • RTL is handled at the app level - just provide the text, no RTL markers needed

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
