What is create-drawio-diagram?

A diagram-making guide for Draw.io (also called diagrams.net), a visual editor for architecture diagrams. It uses reusable templates and saves editable source files plus exports in a dedicated diagrams/ folder.

It helps create capability maps and target or solution architecture diagrams showing systems, data, integrations, technologies, and dependencies.

It keeps architecture diagrams consistent and makes sure stakeholders receive files they can edit. It also avoids scattering diagram files beside the main document.

Quick Start

Create editable Draw.io diagrams for architecture deliverables using the templates in templates/ and the visual rules in STYLE.md.

Use this skill when a generated architecture document needs diagrams that stakeholders can edit in Draw.io or diagrams.net. Always create a diagrams/ subfolder next to the supporting document and store every generated .drawio source and same-basename export there. Never place diagram files beside the supporting document.
