A set of rules for creating, reviewing, and testing Arabic or Arabic-and-English content, including right-to-left interfaces. It treats Arabic as content written for Arabic readers rather than as a word-for-word translation.

In plain words
What is it for?
It supports Arabic UI text, translation files, store listings, posts, documentation, and bilingual app testing.
Why use it?
It helps prevent awkward Arabic, inconsistent names, mixed-language interface text, and errors in right-to-left layouts.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00056 $0.00699
Opus 5.5 $0.00022 $0.00280
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00011 $0.00140
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00070

Measured 2mo ago against content hash 5f8659163e57, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

arabic-content scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Arabic Content

Overview

Arabic output must read as content authored in Arabic, not as a translation of English. Bilingual apps must not leak one language into the other's rendered UI. Names and brand terms have one canonical Arabic spelling per project and must not drift.

When to use

Use this when:

  • Writing or reviewing Arabic UI strings, locale files, marketing copy, store listings, or documentation.
  • Building or testing any AR/EN bilingual app or site.
  • The user flags mixed-language UI, awkward translated register, or a misspelled name.

For the general cross-locale test process use test-ui/test-ux; this skill adds the Arabic-specific authorship, canonical-spelling, and leak rules and should be applied alongside them.

Workflow

  1. Author, never translate literally
  • Draft Arabic content directly in Arabic for the intended register and audience; use the English version only as a meaning reference.
  • Reject phrasing that mirrors English syntax or idiom word-for-word. Read the result as standalone Arabic and ask whether a native author would write it that way.
  • Pick domain terms deliberately (e.g. the natural Arabic term for the concept, not the dictionary gloss).
  1. Keep canonical spellings
  • Brand names, product names, and personal names get one canonical Arabic spelling per project.
  • Before writing such a name, check the project's glossary/memory; if absent, confirm the spelling once with the user and record it in project memory so it is never re-asked.
  1. Scan for language leaks
  • Rendered Arabic locale must contain no unintended Latin/English strings (labels, dropdown options, data-driven names, dates, placeholders) — and the English locale no stray Arabic.
  • Scan rendered output, not just locale files: leaks usually come from data, defaults, and fallbacks, not translation files.
  • Treat mixed-language UI as a bug, not a cosmetic issue.
  1. Check RTL rendering
  • Verify layout direction, alignment, icon mirroring, and number/date formatting in the Arabic locale.
  • Mixed bidi strings (Arabic text with Latin identifiers or numbers) need explicit direction handling.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
