Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
algorithm-pseudocode-design scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 128 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Algorithm & Pseudocode Design
Design the algorithm before committing to a language's syntax. Pseudocode forces you to separate "what is the logic" from "how does this language express it" — bugs found at this stage are far cheaper than bugs found after a full implementation.
When to use
- The algorithm is non-trivial: non-obvious data structure choice, tricky control flow, concurrency, or a correctness property that's easy to get subtly wrong (rate limiting, cache eviction, ranking/scoring).
- Complexity matters and hasn't been thought through yet — "this might be O(n²) on the hot path" is worth catching on paper.
- Skip for code that's a direct, obvious translation of the requirement (simple CRUD, straightforward glue/plumbing) — pseudocode adds no value there.
Structure and syntax
Keep it language-agnostic — no language-specific syntax, so the logic reads the same regardless of what it'll be implemented in:
ALGORITHM: AuthenticateUser
INPUT: email (string), password (string)
OUTPUT: user (User object) or error
BEGIN
IF email is empty OR password is empty THEN
RETURN error("Invalid credentials")
END IF
user ← Database.findUserByEmail(email)
IF user is null THEN
RETURN error("User not found")
END IF
isValid ← PasswordHasher.verify(password, user.passwordHash)
IF NOT isValid THEN
SecurityLog.logFailedLogin(email)
RETURN error("Invalid credentials")
END IF
session ← CreateUserSession(user)
RETURN {user: user, session: session}
END
Data structure selection
Name the structure, its complexity per operation, and why it was chosen over the alternatives — not just what it is:
UserCache:
Type: LRU cache with TTL
Purpose: reduce DB queries for active users
Operations: get O(1), set O(1), evict O(1)
PermissionTree:
Type: trie (prefix tree)
Purpose: efficient hierarchical permission checks
Operations: hasPermission(path) O(m), m = path length
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

algorithm-pseudocode-design is a skill published in the GitHub repository getappz/agentflare (2 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 107 tokens to every session and 1,074 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
