cosim-gpu: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/cosim-gpu-rlcr-loop/SKILL.md

cosim-gpu-rlcr-loop is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from gevico/cosim-gpu. It costs 41 tokens per session (978 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A controlled loop for implementing, debugging, or validating cosimulation changes after a plan has been approved. It runs bounded rounds of building, testing, reviewing, and recording progress against fixed acceptance criteria.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to manage repeated fix-and-check rounds, track acceptance criteria, run build and provenance checks, and coordinate independent review before stopping.
Why use it?
It keeps iterative work from losing track of the goal, current source revision, review gates, or unfinished items. It also supports interruption recovery and a final summary of what passed or remains.

This is gevico/cosim-gpu's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on cosim-gpu itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything cosim-gpu configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00041 $0.00978
Opus 5.5 $0.00016 $0.00391
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00196
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00098

Security

Grade A, and why

cosim-gpu-rlcr-loop scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 19d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Cosim RLCR Loop

Run iterative implementation or debugging after cosim-gpu-flow-plan. This skill owns round state, acceptance criteria, interruption recovery, and the order of build, test, and review gates. Independent reviewer rules live in ../cosim-gpu-review/references/review/independent-review-contract.md; read that file before each review gate.

Required Inputs

  • artifacts/<task-slug>/plan.md
  • frozen acceptance criteria
  • chosen domain skill for the technical work
  • build and provenance gate from cosim-gpu-build
  • current HEAD recorded as the source-edit base

If there is no plan, run cosim-gpu-flow-plan first.

Artifact Layout

artifacts/<task-slug>/rlcr/
├── goal-tracker.md
├── round-001-summary.md
├── round-001-review.md
└── final-summary.md

Logs, review briefs, verdicts, and provenance stay in the task workspace under logs/, reviews/, tests/, or existing artifact paths.

Goal Tracker

Maintain rlcr/goal-tracker.md:

# Goal Tracker

## Immutable
- Goal:
- Acceptance Criteria:

## Mutable
- Active round:
- Completed:
- Remaining:
- Deferred with reason:
- Decision log:

Do not change the immutable section without explicit human approval.

Round Loop

Repeat until all acceptance criteria pass and the independent review stop rule is satisfied.

Stop rules apply in this order:

  • user-supplied stop rule in plan.md or goal-tracker.md
  • frozen acceptance criteria plus required evidence gates
  • default convergence: two consecutive independent reviews with no new BLOCKER or MAJOR findings

Each round:

  1. Select the smallest coherent objective that advances a named acceptance criterion.
  2. Re-read current evidence, acceptance criteria, source base, and pending findings.
  3. For bug/debug tasks, write at least two mutually exclusive hypotheses to scratch/hypotheses.md before source edits.
  4. Implement or investigate using the selected domain skill.
  5. After any source change, treat prior test rows as non-final.
  6. Run the standard incremental build and relevant test rows.
  7. Write rlcr/round-NNN-summary.md with commands, artifacts, verdicts, source base, and remaining work.
  8. Run the independent review gate through cosim-gpu-review or cosim-gpu-codex-review, following the shared review contract.
  9. Audit findings, fix accepted in-scope issues, and defer wider redesigns with reasons.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
