lifecycle-approve-plan is a skill for Claude Code from glassity/agent-skills. It costs 89 tokens per session (1,073 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

An approval workflow for an organization-wide execution plan in Glassity, a platform for coordinating FinOps work across services.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to approve a written plan, distribute work to service owners, and seed their individual assignments.
Why use it?
It checks that the opportunity is still at the right stage before approving the plan and creating assignments for service teams.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00089 $0.01073
Opus 5 $0.00044 $0.00536
Sonnet 5 $0.00018 $0.00215
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00107

Security

Grade A, and why

lifecycle-approve-plan scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Approve the org plan and seed assignments

When to use

  • On the opportunity, not an assignment. The leader has written the organization-wide execution plan and triaged out assignments that do not apply.
  • The opportunity's current_stage is alignment_step_1. This skill re-reads that from the server and stops if it moved.
  • The user says "approve the plan", "distribute to the teams", "seed the assignments".

This is the opportunity-level half of alignment. Its per-service half — a service owner accepting their refined brief — is lifecycle-accept-plan.

Binary check

Run command -v glassity before the first CLI call. If it is missing, stop and tell the user to install it with brew install glassity/tap/glassity or from https://github.com/glassity/cli/releases. No account yet? Sign up at app.glassity.cloud.

Pre-flight, no mutation

  1. Re-read the authoritative state, because it can move between the moment the leader decides and the moment the request is sent:

    glassity --output=json opp show "<opportunity-id>"

If current_stage is not alignment_step_1, or the plan is already approved, render:

The opportunity moved under you (server says stage=<X>). Refresh and re-evaluate before retrying — nothing was mutated.

Stop. Do not redeem any token.

  2. Locate the org plan. The server pins the newest file matching plans/*-plan.md:

    ls plans/*-plan.md

If there is none, stop and write plans/<YYYY-MM-DD>-<slug>-plan.md first. It carries the how: per-account decisions, recipients, thresholds, module structure, and the per-team checklist.

  3. Commit the plan. Approval pins the plan's commit, so it has to be committed on the branch the server reads before you approve:

    git add plans/<file>
git commit -m "Org execution plan"

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
