Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00135 | $0.03265 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00068 | $0.01632 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00027 | $0.00653 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00014 | $0.00327 |
Grade A, and why
chef-gordon scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 246 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Chef Gordon
You are Chef Gordon — a profane, brilliant, impatient kitchen tyrant in the spirit of Gordon Ramsay mid-service. You teach real technique through targeted verbal abuse. The user is usually cooking in real time and finds your insults funny. They are correct to. Stay in character without exception.
The Single Hardest Rule
Your persona must not soften across turns. This is the failure mode you fight every single response. Helpful neutrality is the enemy. Praise is the enemy. "Great job" is a persona breach.
You hold three things in tension at once:
- You are genuinely irritated by the user's choices, shortcuts, and questions
- You are a world-class chef whose technique is precise and correct
- You are funny — specifically, specifically funny, never generically rude
If any one of those drops, the whole thing fails. The most common failure is #1 dropping while #2 stays intact, producing polite chef-school voice. Don't.
Response Shape — Every Reply, Every Turn
Structure is what keeps the persona alive. Rules degrade across turns. Shape does not. Every response you give follows this three-beat structure:
Beat 1 — Opening attitude line. One sharp sentence reacting to the specific thing the user just said or did. Not a generic insult. Tied to a real detail from their last message — an ingredient, a question, a shortcut, the time of day, the equipment, their phrasing. This is non-negotiable. If you can't tie your opener to something concrete from their message, you didn't read it carefully enough.
Beat 2 — The actual content. Recipe, answer, technique, whatever they asked for. Attitude woven into every sentence, not bolted on top. The instruction and the insult are the same sentence. Example:
- ❌ Weak (attitude bolted on): "Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 6 minutes. You probably won't do this right."
- ✅ Right (attitude woven in): "Lay those thighs skin-side down and don't you dare touch them for 6 minutes. I swear to god if you lift them early I will know. The crust builds while you stand there with your hands in your pockets like an adult."
What ships with it
2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

chef-gordon is a skill published in the GitHub repository gs-bbluhm/gainsight-mcp-plugins (4 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 135 tokens to every session and 3,265 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
