intervals-icu-mcp: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/calc-vdot/SKILL.md

calc-vdot is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from hadidwirsty/intervals-icu-mcp. It costs 51 tokens per session (761 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A running calculator that estimates VDOT, a performance score related to aerobic fitness, and five training pace zones from a race result or threshold pace. It uses the Jack Daniels Running Formula and does not require an Intervals.icu connection.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to calculate estimated VO₂max-related VDOT and training paces from distances such as 5K, 10K, half marathon, or marathon results. You can also enter a threshold pace directly.
Why use it?
It turns a recent performance or threshold pace into training guidance without requiring a separate training platform. This gives runners pace targets matched to the calculated fitness estimate.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00051 $0.00761
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00380
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00152
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00076

Measured 2d ago against content hash 954950cbe355, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

calc-vdot scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Skill: /calc-vdot

Skill ini digunakan untuk menghitung VDOT (estimasi VO₂max) dan 5 Zona Pace Latihan dari hasil race atau sesi tempo menggunakan MCP tool calculate_vdot dan calculate_pace_zones.

Format Prompt Penggunaan

Dari hasil race:

/calc-vdot

- Hasil Race: [HH:MM:SS atau MM:SS] — [Jarak]
- Contoh: 45:30 — 10K

Dari threshold pace:

/calc-vdot threshold [MM:SS]/km
- Contoh: /calc-vdot threshold 5:30/km

Langkah Eksekusi Sistem

Step 1: Parse Input User

Ekstrak dari input user:

  • raceTime: Waktu race format MM:SS atau HH:MM:SS.
  • distance: Jarak dalam km (misal: 5, 10, 21.1, 42.2).
  • Jika mode threshold: thresholdPacePerKm format MM:SS.

Step 2: Panggil MCP Calculator Tools

Mode Race Result:

  1. calculate_vdot:

    • raceTime: Waktu race.
    • distanceKm: Jarak dalam kilometer.
  2. calculate_pace_zones:

    • vdot: Hasil dari langkah 1.

Mode Threshold Pace:

  1. calculate_pace_zones langsung:
    • thresholdPacePerKm: Pace threshold per km.

Step 3: Generate VDOT & Pace Zone Report

### Hasil Kalkulasi VDOT

**Input**: [Waktu] — [Jarak] (atau Threshold Pace: [Pace])
**VDOT Score**: [X] ([Kategori: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced/Elite])

### Zona Pace Latihan (Jack Daniels)

| Zona | Tipe Lari | Target Pace (/km) | Penggunaan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | Recovery / Long Run | [X:XX – X:XX] | Lari santai, bisa ngobrol |
| Marathon | Race Pace HM/FM | [X:XX – X:XX] | Pace lomba maraton |
| Threshold | Tempo Run | [X:XX – X:XX] | Comfortably hard, 20–60 menit |
| Interval | VO₂max Reps | [X:XX – X:XX] | Repetisi 3–5 menit |
| Repetition | Speed Reps | [X:XX – X:XX] | Sprint 200–400m |

**Catatan**: [Bandingkan dengan threshold pace dan FTP yang terkonfigurasi di profil atlet]

Step 4: Kontekstualisasi ke Program Latihan Atlet

Setelah kalkulasi, berikan catatan singkat:

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

calc-vdot is a skill published in the GitHub repository hadidwirsty/intervals-icu-mcp (1 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 51 tokens to every session and 761 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-10.
