iblai-api-agent-llm

iblai-api-agent-llm is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from iblai/api. It costs 50 tokens per session (618 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for choosing which language-model provider and model an ibl.ai agent uses. The provider is the service supplying the model, and the model is the AI system that generates the agent's responses.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to list available provider-and-model options, inspect the current selection, and save a new selection for an agent.
Why use it?
It separates model selection from the rest of the agent setup and saves the choice through the agent's settings. This makes it possible to change the model an existing agent runs on.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00050 $0.00618
Opus 5 $0.00025 $0.00309
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00124
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00062

Security

Grade A, and why

iblai-api-agent-llm scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

What it actually says

iblai-api-agent-llm

Set an agent's LLM provider and model: list the available provider/model cards and write the chosen provider + model through the same settings/ endpoint that backs the rest of the agent configuration. Use when changing which model an agent runs on.

Auth & conventions

  • Base URL: https://api.iblai.app
  • Header: Authorization: Api-Token $IBLAI_API_KEY on every request.
  • Path vars: {org} = $IBLAI_ORG, {username} = $IBLAI_USERNAME, {mentor} = the agent's unique id (e.g. d17dc729-60fd-4363-81a0-f67d9318b03e).
  • Provider/model selection saves through the same settings/ endpoint — PUT …/users/{username}/mentors/{mentor}/settings/.
  • Not connected yet? Run /iblai-api-login first to populate IBLAI_ORG, IBLAI_USERNAME, and IBLAI_API_KEY.

Reads

  • GET https://api.iblai.app/dm/api/ai-mentor/orgs/{org}/users/{username}/mentors/{mentor}/settings/ — current provider/model.
  • GET https://api.iblai.app/dm/api/ai-mentor/orgs/{org}/users/{username}/mentor-llms/?mentor_id={mentor} — provider/model cards.

Writes

  • PUT …/users/{username}/mentors/{mentor}/settings/ — set provider/model:
    {
      "llm_provider": "string (required)",
      "llm_name": "string (required)"
    }

Example

Switch an agent to OpenAI's GPT-4o:

curl -X PUT \
  "https://api.iblai.app/dm/api/ai-mentor/orgs/$IBLAI_ORG/users/$IBLAI_USERNAME/mentors/$MENTOR/settings/" \
  -H "Authorization: Api-Token $IBLAI_API_KEY" \
  -F "llm_provider=openai" \
  -F "llm_name=gpt-4o"

Notes

  • Pull the provider/model cards first, then send exactly one llm_provider + llm_name pair that appears in that list — values must match a real card.
  • Selection persists through the shared settings/ endpoint, so it sits alongside the other configuration fields on the same agent.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
