archi-plan-options

archi-plan-options is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from JiuNian3219/architext. It costs 27 tokens per session (1,635 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A library of architecture decision options organized by project type. It checks existing project conventions before suggesting alternatives or questions.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps select implementation approaches, inherit documented conventions, generate interview questions, and prepare structured architecture decisions.
Why use it?
It reduces unnecessary technology choices when the project already has a convention. When several choices matter, it helps present the trade-offs and questions clearly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00027 $0.01635
Opus 5 $0.00014 $0.00817
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00327
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00163

Security

Grade A, and why

archi-plan-options scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 150 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Invocation

  • Auto-invoke: No, not triggered by model based on description.
  • Trigger location: Only explicitly called at corresponding step in /archi.* protocols.
  • Execution context: Can execute inline in current context; when involving user questions must return to main dialogue.
  • Boundary: Only assist generating options, interview questions or structured fragments, does not advance protocol steps independently.

Architecture Decision Option Library

Core Principles

  • Convention First: When tech_stack.md §9 has project convention, directly inherit, do not expand (unless function explicitly needs deviation, explain reason)
  • Clear then Recommend: When context sufficient to judge, directly output recommendation line
  • Multiple Options then Ask: When 2+ reasonable options and significantly affect implementation, then expand Q-table

Execution Protocol

  1. Convention Check: Read tech_stack_s9, if that feature has project convention → Directly inherit, mark source Convention, skip subsequent
  2. Extract Core Questions: Only process feature type sections actually enabled in current project; types not appearing视为inapplicable
  3. Per-Question Decide:
    • spec_context gives clear answer → Recommendation line <feature> @ <core question>: <decision> (Source: Recommended) — Reason: <1-2 sentences>
    • 2+ reasonable options and significantly affect implementation → Q-table, columns: Option / Advantage / Risk / Applicable Scenario / Default Recommend ✓
  4. Return recommendation lines + Q-table to caller

Core Question List

[[WHEN: data |

data · Data Layer Design

  • Entity Relationships — Flat | 1:N | M:N | Recursive | JSON/EAV | Virtual
  • Consistency — ACID | Eventual consistency | Optimistic lock | Not needed
  • Access Pattern — Read-heavy | Read-write balanced | Write-heavy | Real-time query
  • Security & Backup — Static encryption | Transport encryption | Periodic backup | Sensitive data masking ]]

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
