Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00039 | $0.06219 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00016 | $0.02488 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00008 | $0.01244 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00004 | $0.00622 |
Grade A, and why
odp-data-consume scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

ODP Data Consume Skill
Use this skill when the user wants to read, query, download, or pull data from the Ocean Data Platform (ODP) by Hub Ocean.
Prerequisites
Python Dependencies
pip install odp-sdk pyarrow shapely pandas python-dotenv h3
| Package | Purpose |
|---|---|
odp-sdk |
ODP client library (authentication, catalog, dataset operations) |
pyarrow |
Tabular data deserialization |
shapely |
Convert WKT geometry back to GeoJSON |
pandas |
DataFrame handling for tabular query results |
h3 |
Convert H3 cell ids back to boundary polygons from aggregate results |
Authentication
What needs a key (verified Oct 2026, odp-sdk 0.28.9)
Access is decided by the dataset's visibility, not its publish_status: public drafts are as open as published ones.
| Call | Public dataset | Private dataset |
|---|---|---|
| STAC API | No key | Not listed |
Table data: schema(), stats(), select(), aggregate() |
No key | Key required (401 without) |
Catalog record GET /api/catalog/v2/datasets/{id} (provider, licence, timestamps, publish status) |
Key required (401 without) | Key required |
Catalog list GET /api/catalog/v2/datasets (every dataset you can see, public and private; ~5,000 records in one response) |
Key required | Key required |
| Writes / ingest | Key required (assumed; not tested) | Key required (assumed; not tested) |
So a missing key blocks catalog metadata and private data only. It never blocks reading public tables, so don't report those as "blocked".
Anonymous client for public data
With no key, Client() falls back to an interactive browser login (odp/new_client.py, _setup_jwt), which hangs in an agent. To read public tables without a key, skip that step and send an empty Authorization header (None is rejected by requests):
import requests
from odp.client import Client
client = Client.__new__(Client) # skip __init__ and its browser-login fallback
client.base_url = "https://api.hubocean.earth"
client._http_client = requests.Session()
client._auth = lambda: "" # anonymous; public datasets only
ds = client.dataset("public-dataset-uuid")
ds.table.schema(); ds.table.stats() # and filtered aggregate() — all work without a key
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

odp-data-consume is a skill published in the GitHub repository joevstaas/awesome-claude-skills (6 stars, last pushed 5d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 39 tokens to every session and 6,219 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
