What is market-profile?

A market-structure analysis tool that shows where trading activity and volume were concentrated over time. TPO, or Time Price Opportunity, counts how much time price spent at each level; a Volume Profile counts traded volume there.

Use it to create daily, weekly, session, or fixed-range profiles and find VWAP, the point of control, and the value area.

It helps traders identify commonly accepted prices, unusually active areas, and potential support or resistance zones.
