What is market-profile?

A market-structure analysis tool that shows where trading activity and volume were concentrated. It explains concepts such as the value area, point of control, and high- or low-volume price zones.

It creates daily, weekly, volume, VWAP, and session profiles, and can calculate the point of control and value area for a symbol.

It helps identify commonly accepted price areas and possible support or resistance instead of looking only at candlestick charts.
