letta-ai/letta-code is an agent harness for building assistants that retain memory, identity, and experience across interactions instead of treating each task as isolated. Developers use it through local, desktop, browser, or messaging interfaces for interactive or continuously running agents, and its catalogue entries configure the agents' skills, instructions, rules, and behavior.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00052 | $0.02642 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00021 | $0.01057 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00010 | $0.00528 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00005 | $0.00264 |
Grade A, and why
speech-generation scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

ElevenLabs Text-to-Speech (via Letta)
Generate natural speech from text - supports 90+ languages, multiple models for quality vs latency tradeoffs. Examples default to eleven_v4, the latest and highest-quality model.
This skill is adapted from ElevenLabs' text-to-speech skill
(elevenlabs/skills, MIT; see LICENSE).
Instead of calling ElevenLabs with your own key, you call Letta's hosted endpoint
POST /v1/audio/speech. It forwards the request to ElevenLabs with Letta's key
and charges the organization's Letta credits, so you do not need an ElevenLabs
API key. The request body uses the same field names as ElevenLabs "Create
speech"; the voice ID goes in the body.
Quick Start
base_url="${LETTA_BASE_URL%/}"
curl -sS -X POST "$base_url/v1/audio/speech" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LETTA_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"text":"Hello, welcome to ElevenLabs!","voice_id":"JBFqnCBsd6RMkjVDRZzb","model_id":"eleven_v4"}' \
> speech-response.json
python3 - <<'PY'
import base64, json
with open("speech-response.json") as f:
response = json.load(f)
if "audio_b64" not in response:
raise SystemExit(response.get("message", response))
with open("output.mp3", "wb") as f:
f.write(base64.b64decode(response["audio_b64"]))
print("saved output.mp3")

Use the runtime-provided LETTA_BASE_URL and LETTA_API_KEY together. Build
URLs relative to ${LETTA_BASE_URL%/} and do not hardcode
https://api.letta.com. If either variable is missing, the user needs to
authenticate with Letta Cloud; do not ask for an ElevenLabs key.
Share the saved file the way your current surface supports: attach or upload it to the conversation or channel you are replying in. Never paste the base64 into a reply. Keep credit amounts out of replies unless the user asks about cost.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

speech-generation is a skill published in the GitHub repository letta-ai/letta-code (3,625 stars, last pushed today), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 52 tokens to every session and 2,642 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-13.
