Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00066 | $0.01497 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00026 | $0.00599 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00013 | $0.00299 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00007 | $0.00150 |
Grade A, and why
docker-ops scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 181 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Docker Operations: WhatsApp MCP Docker
Never stop a Gateway-managed container with docker stop
The MCP Gateway (Docker MCP Toolkit) manages the whatsapp-mcp-docker container.
It does this when the server is registered in a profile with longLived: true.
If you stop that container with docker stop or docker compose down, the
Gateway stdio process dies. All MCP tools stop working with EOF errors. Restart
the opencode service to recover.
Do not run these commands while the Gateway is active:
docker stop <gateway-container-name> # kills the Gateway stdio process
docker compose down # same effect
Safe alternatives:
| Goal | Safe command |
|---|---|
| Restart the WhatsApp server | docker mcp profile server remove <profile> whatsapp-mcp-docker, then add it again |
| Reload after a code rebuild | docker compose build --no-cache, then restart the opencode service. The Gateway uses the new image on its next container restart. |
| Full reset | Disconnect the Gateway first, then docker compose down -v, then reconnect |
Recovery after an accidental stop:
- Restart the opencode service.
- Confirm the server is still registered in the profile.
- Call
authenticateto restore the WhatsApp session.
Rebuild after code changes
If the Gateway is active, rebuild the image only. Do not run docker compose up.
The Gateway picks up the new image on the next container restart.
Always build with --no-cache. BuildKit layer caching can cache the npx tsc
step even when COPY src/ changes. A cached dist/ produces bugs such as
getContact is not a function.
docker compose build --no-cache
If you do not use the MCP Gateway (standalone mode only):
docker compose up -d --build --no-cache
View logs
docker compose logs -f whatsapp-mcp-docker
docker compose logs --tail 50 whatsapp-mcp-docker
Reset all data (nuclear option)
# Stop containers and delete volumes (session, messages, audit)
docker compose down -v
docker compose up -d --build
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

docker-ops is a skill published in the GitHub repository Malaccamaxgit/whatsapp-mcp-docker (1 stars, last pushed 10d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 66 tokens to every session and 1,497 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-06.
