draft-illustration

draft-illustration is a skill for Claude Code from markmhendrickson/neotoma. It costs 14 tokens per session (1,366 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A reusable visual guide for creating blog hero images, social previews, and other post artwork in a consistent style across repositories.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when creating or briefing artwork for blog posts, hero sections, or OG images—the previews shown when links are shared.
Why use it?
It prevents new blog images from drifting into different colors, backgrounds, or drawing styles.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00014 $0.01366
Opus 5 $0.00007 $0.00683
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00273
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00137

Security

Grade A, and why

draft-illustration scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Blog Post Visual Style (Cross-Repo)

Use this skill whenever you create or generate hero images, OG/social preview images, or any post artwork so that assets have the same visual style across repositories. The style is mandatory for blog/post imagery; repo-specific paths and scripts are documented per project.

Visual style (mandatory)

All hero and post imagery MUST follow this style. Apply it when prompting image generation (e.g. GenerateImage, DALL·E, Midjourney) or when briefing a designer.

Visual rules:

Rule Requirement
Background Solid black only. No gradients, no white sections, no mixed backgrounds.
Foreground White line-art. Subtle edge shading for dimensionality is encouraged; large filled areas and color gradients are not.
Line work Polished, refined white outlines with consistent stroke weight. Lines should feel engraved or blueprint-quality — smooth curves, clean joints, slight dimensional depth on edges. Not sketchy or rough.
Color Monochromatic black and white only. No gray tones or other colors outside of subtle edge shading for depth.
Composition Scene-based or centered. Objects may sit on surfaces with perspective (e.g. an angled desk, a platform). Generous negative (black) space around the subject.
Aesthetic Polished, dimensional, iconic. Technical engraving or refined blueprint feel. Not flat/clip-art, not photorealistic. Symbolic objects should feel like they have weight and presence.
Typography None. No text, labels, or captions within the image.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
