A Spotify Liked Songs audit and cleanup tool. Liked Songs is Spotify's saved-track collection.

In plain words
What is it for?
Reviewing the full saved-track library, proposing keep/remove pairs, safely removing approved tracks, and confirming that the library changed as expected.
Why use it?
It helps identify repeated tracks, alternate recordings, unavailable songs, and other possible cleanup candidates before anything is removed. It requires explicit approval and checks the results afterward.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00053 $0.00258
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00129
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00052
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00026

Security

Grade A, and why

spotify-library-doctor scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Spotify library doctor

Audit first. A vague cleanup request authorizes a preview, not deletion.

  1. Page through every saved track with spotify_saved_tracks, preserving position, saved date, duration, and exact URI. Restart once if the library changes during the scan.
  2. Separate exact URI repeats, likely alternate recordings, clearly distinct versions, unavailable entries, and no-action observations. Absence from recent or top listening is not a removal reason.
  3. Give candidates stable labels and show the proposed keep/remove pair, evidence, and uncertainty.
  4. Apply only labels or exact URIs the user explicitly approved. Re-read candidate pages immediately before calling spotify_library_remove with full exact track URIs; abort if identity or ordering changed.
  5. Re-scan after removal. Prove approved URIs are absent, keep URIs remain, and the count changed as expected. The server has no automatic undo for Liked Songs removal.

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
